Let’s celebrate Spring together, as the new season changes March 21, and with it, an opportunity to drink to warmer weather and enjoy some cool cocktails on the patio with friends!

Here are some new and old beverages to try, if you haven’t already! (and if you have, try them again!)

Let’s start with Canadian-made Stalk and Barrel, a small batch hand-crafted single malt style whisky.

In terms of tasting notes, it opens with aromas of caramel apple and white flowers. The palate is creamy with vanilla and butterscotch flavours, slowing flowing into a zingy white pepper finish. You can enjoy it neat, on the rocks, or as a cocktail!

Flor de Caña, a premium tasting luxury rum, is the world’s first and only Carbon Neutral and Fair Trade certified spirit. Not only that, but there’s no sugar or additives, and the fact that it’s naturally aged at the base of an active volcano means that you get a full bodied, rich and smooth taste. Available in ages 12, 15, 18 and 25 year.

Its tasting notes include vanilla, wood and baked apples, with a smooth and well-balanced finish that is fabulous in cocktails, or with a splash of ginger ale, and an orange twist.

Iceberg Vodka, Canada’s number one selling Canadian vodka, is made from water sourced from actual icebergs, located off the coast of Newfoundland. This pure, 20,000-year-old water gives Iceberg its distinct and smooth taste.

Disaronno is renowned as the world’s favourite Italian liqueur. Featuring an original taste and an unmistakable aroma, Disaronno Originale is a stylish and timeless icon of the Italian Dolcevita.

It’s a name you won’t forget – Monkey Shoulder – is 100% malt whisky from Speyside, Scotland, crafted in small batches. Monkey Shoulder offers a hint of zesty orange, vanilla and honey, and spiced oak, followed by hints of mallow vanilla, with a hint of spice. This blended Scotch whisky is fruity and smooth in character – bold enough to stand out in a drink, but mild enough not to overpower. It won Drink’s International Top Trending Scotch Brand five years in a row, and awarded Gold at the International Spirits Competition in 2021.

Calling all coffee lovers! Tia Maria coffee liqueur is beloved by all over the world. With a strong coffee character and full-bodied rich taste, this sweet and aromatic liqueur is an espresso martini staple!

Enjoy the intense coffee aroma, which really comes out at first taste, followed by notes of chocolate and pipe tobacco and then soften on the palate with hints of caramelized cane sugar and vanilla.
