Larche Acquires Tyger Shark Agency’s Small-Medium Enterprise Digital Division & Full-Service Hosting Business Unit

The acquisition is a milestone that will allow both of companies to laser-focus on their respective specializations and do what we each do best.

Since 2007, Tyger Shark have been the region’s digital leaders providing cutting edge creative and digital solutions delivering results for their clients.  They grew from one employee to forty. Employees became family members, and along the way they have worked with some of Canada’s most inspiring startups, brands and businesses. Over the years, the nature of the work and the needs of their clients has evolved – and so have they. Today, eleven years since their incorporation, they take the next step in that evolution.

For Tyger Shark, this means the opportunity for a stronger focus on larger national, international and global endeavours. They are directing efforts toward pioneering new technologies, leading the movement into Virtual & Augmented Reality and setting new standards in Mobile and e-Commerce; solving increasingly complex problems for their large clients as a full-service digital agency. They know that their local and regional small and medium clients are in the best possible hands with Paul Larche and his team at Larche.

Paul is a veteran marketer leveraging his extensive experience and success in radio (as former owner of 104.1 The Dock and KICX 106) with a new focus on branding and the digital space. Larche’s digital division has built a reputation in Simcoe County working with clients such as Napoleon, Chickapea Pasta, Georgian BMW, Simcoe Block, Hospice and countless others.

For Larche, this means continuing the great local work they’ve been doing for years, now operating out of a new facility in Barrie’s south end featuring a state-of-the-art video and photography studio. This acquisition increases their bench strength and continues the expansion of their branding and digital offerings in the region paired with their unwavering dedication and reputation for customer service.

“Our goal is to provide local businesses with the direction, confidence and ability to reach their brand’s full potential and value in this ever-changing digital world.” says Paul. “What attracted us to Tyger Shark was the ability to scale our capabilities across a broader network in order to expand and enhance our offering to existing clients and attract new prospects both here in Simcoe County and abroad. This is a fantastic addition in terms of expertise and capabilities, with a strong culture and vision that complements our current roster of clients and talent. This is a key acquisition to increase our scale with a well-established client base, enhance our digital capabilities and achieve a more dominant position in the market”. We can’t wait to start working with many of Tyger Shark’s customers to help build their brands.”

“I set out over 20 years ago to make life easier for Small Business owners – helping them thrive in today’s complex digital economy became our mission. This is also Larche’s mission,” said Tyler Murray, Co-Founder of Tyger Shark. “Joining forces with a company that’s as passionate about small business as we are will take us both into the next chapter in our stories. We look forward to helping Larche Communications expand its reach in the small business market while continuing to collaborate and share our knowledge and experience with each other to ensure our clients always get the best possible service,” said Jimmy Furlano, Co-Founder of Tyger Shark.

ABOUT LARCHE

Larche Communications Inc. is owned and operated by Paul Larche.  The 21-year-old media company recently divested of four radio stations, including 104.1 The Dock and KICX 106, to Bell Media in March 2018.  Larche retained its digital division which has operated for over five years, providing digital services to top Simcoe County businesses such as Napoleon Home Comfort, Prodomax Automation, Simcoe Building Centre and CSR Cosmetic Solutions.

With the purchase of Tyger Shark’s SME business, the company is rebranding simply as Larche, a full-service digital branding agency that will offer branding, creative, web, digital marketing and video/photography services. They have recently move into a new state-of-the-art facility in Barrie’s south end, which includes a full video, photography and production studio.
