2nd Annual Generation Equality International Women’s Day Empowerment Luncheon

Hosted by: Women & Children’s Shelter of Barrie
Presented by: Barrie Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Ltd. Barrie, Ontario

Women in the community are invited to celebrate equality during the 2nd Annual Generation Equality International Women’s Day Empowerment Luncheon on Sunday March 8th. The event will run from 11am to 2pm at Barrie Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Ltd. located at 395 Dunlop Street West, in support of the Women & Children’s Shelter of Barrie. Guests will have the opportunity to shop the local vendor market that features 20 local businesses, enjoy a wonderful lunch provided by Culinary Creations by Christina, and inspiring conversations with guest speaker Barrie Chief of Police Kimberley Greenwood, alongside our keynote speaker Ann Green from BLiSS Ann Green Yoga.

Proceeds from ticket sales, silent auction items, and raffle prizes will be used to fund services and programs for women and children affected by abuse. “Although we are partially funded for 27 beds here at the shelter, we are constantly over capacity due to the need in our community,” said Kelly Letourneau, Development Manager at the Women & Children’s Shelter of Barrie. “We rely heavily on community sponsorships and donations to keep the doors open, and to provide the women and children the proper care, and support they require.”

Tickets for the event are $100 each and can be purchased online at https://barrie.snapd.com/events/view/1303016. Last year’s event sold out, so get your tickets before they are gone!

We are happy to sponsor Pie Digest the gift bags at this event!!
